We are fellow Atlanta-area musicians who share a drummer and have worked a bit at writing songs together. An all-around swell dude.

Norbert is easily the friendliest and most conversationally exuberant person I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet. His love of—and knowledge of—music and film run obsessively deep. He has always been incredibly charitable with his time with regard to teaching me the theoretical approaches to programming, and he is largely responsible for my eventual understanding of object oriented programming.

I’m still really disappointed that he moved to Chicago, but that just gives me another reason to visit the city. :)

This is my favorite jimmyether story. Once he was having a cup of tea and his little daughter asked him what he was doing. He told her “I’m having a cup of tea!” and she replied “Like… The Kinks?!?
